Sean McVay via Rams Daily provides situation update on WR Puka Nacua week-to-week knee injury

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is currently considered week-to-week due to a knee injury sustained on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Despite the concern, a source described Nacua’s injury as “not serious.”

Nacua left the Rams’ joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday after appearing to struggle during a team drill. Following the practice, Rams coach Sean McVay expressed uncertainty about the nature of Nacua’s injury, who had an impressive rookie season in 2023, setting records for receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486).

The Rams are taking a break on Monday and will resume practice on Tuesday.

This injury adds to the growing list of challenges for the Rams, who are already contending with issues on their offensive line. Three-fifths of the starting line is currently dealing with injuries: right tackle Rob Havenstein is out with an ankle issue, left guard Jonah Jackson is sidelined with a shoulder injury, and left tackle Alaric Jackson has an ankle problem.

Additionally, cornerback Darious Williams is managing a hamstring strain. Coach McVay indicated that the team will handle Williams’ injury on a “week-by-week” basis.
