The Baltimore Ravens are at an all time high after absolutely obliterating the Miami Dolphins this past week, and locking up the 1 seed in the AFC conference and securing that the road to the Super Bowl goes through Baltimore.
Although Lamar Jackson does not have a great playoff track record, Odell Beckham Jr. of the Ravens, a Super Bowl winning wide receiver with the Los Angeles Rams, think this team is the best by far that he has ever played for. He’s right and it isn’t even close.
Even though OBJ has played for some amazing teams including a Super Bowl winning team, he was quoted talking to the Baltimore locker room about how this team is the best. He was quoted saying:
“It’s everything,” Beckham said. “It’s the way the organization is run. It’s the players. … This is the best team I’ve been on in the NFL.”
Lamar Jackson is the betting favorite to win MVP and he had a prefect passer rating to go with 5 touchdown passes against Miami. The week prior they beat the San Francisco 49ers easily giving Brock Purdy his worst game of the year and his short career.
The stats of this Baltimore team though is by far in a way a great proof to back up Beckham’s claims about this being a legendary team. Baltimore is 1st in point differential in the league, 2nd in points per game, 1st in opponents points per game, and 1st in turn over difference. These stats don’t just say that this is the best team OBJ has played but perhaps one of the best teams ever.
