Leeds United team news as Daniel Farke rings the changes at West Brom with half a new team

Leeds United face West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns in the Championship on Friday night and Daniel Farke has named his squad with five changes made to the squad in the West Midlands.

Five changes have been made by Daniel Farke to Leeds United’s team at The Hawthorns for tonight’s match with West Bromwich Albion in the Championship. Karl Darlow was expected to replace the suspended Illan Meslier, but a further four will raise some eyebrows.

Pascal Struijk has an adductor injury and is replaced by captain Liam Cooper at the heart of defence. The Scotland international makes his first start since the November 24 trip to Rotherham United.

Sam Byram is also restored to the team for the first time in four matches after recovering from a hamstring injury. Archie Gray makes way for the 30-year and drops to the bench, with Djed Spence expected to shuffle across to right-back.
