DEAL DONE: Another Veteran LB Expresses Optimism As He Finally Commits To TCU

TCU Football continues to amass defensive talent in the 2025 recruiting class, with three-star Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek outside linebacker announcing his commitment to the Horned Frogs on Friday night. Williams was previously pledged to the Texas Longhorns, flipping to the Frogs after re-opening his recruitment last month. Williams ranks as a top-100 prospect in the state of Texas per the 247Sports Composite ranking, the No. 56 linebacker in the class.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Williams is the 11th member of TCU’s 2025 Class, six of which are linebackers or defensive linemen. The Horned Frogs’ 2025 Class currently ranks 20th nationally and second in the Big 12. Williams chose the Frogs over 21 other offers including Auburn, Oregon, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.

Through two varsity seasons with the Sharks, Williams has accumulated 56 tackles (12 for loss), one sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery, earning District Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore.
