The Boston Celtics lead the Indiana Pacers3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston has an opportunity to clinch an NBA Finals appearance on Monday in Game 4. However, the Celtics are dealing with some injury

Boston is sitting in a good position in the series. Still, they want to avoid giving the Pacers any hope in the Eastern Conference Finals. Having Holiday on the floor would go a long way toward closing out the series on Monday night. However, the Celtics will not rush him back. If Holiday is unable to play, the Celtics will attempt to clinch an NBA Finals appearance without the star guard. It goes without saying, but that would be much easier said than done.

Holiday is averaging 12.4 points, 4.8 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game so far in the 2024 NBA playoffs. He’s also playing 37.9 minutes per contest, as the Celtics have benefitted from his veteran presence on the roster. Additionally, Holiday’s impressive defensive ability has been important for Boston without question.
