Third time’s a charm.
In the final season of the four-team College Football Playoff format, Michigan captured its first national title since 1997. The Wolverines made it to three straight playoffs, losing in the semifinals in the first two, before advancing to the title game this time. They beat Alabama in the Rose Bowl before facing Washington in the final, beating the Huskies 34-13.
To celebrate the Wolverines’ accomplishment, Ann Arbor will host a celebratory parade for the team days a week after the game in Houston.

A parade for the Wolverines will be held Saturday, Jan. 13. It begins at 4 p.m. ET and will be followed by a celebration at the Crisler Center. That celebration at the school’s basketball arena will begin at 7 p.m. ET.

The Ann Arbor parade will begin at the President’s House on South University Drive and head south State Street. It will end at Schembechler Hall, according to the university route.

According to Weather.com, it’ll be a windy, snowy day in Ann Arbor come Saturday.
While the parade is weather dependent, the forecast predicts it will hold out with temperatures around 30 degrees and winds at 26 miles per hour. Snow showers will occur throughout the day.
