Former Georgia Bulldog projected to sign $15 million contract

Former Georgia Bulldogs pass rusher Azeez Ojulari is projected to sign a two year, $15 million contract his offseason, per Spotrac. Ojulari, who played the 2024 NFL season with the New York Giants, is set to become a free agent in March.

Ojulari recorded 6.0 sacks and 28 tackles for the Giants in 2024. He played just 11 games in 2024, so his health is a bit of a concern for his NFL suitors. Ojulari has played in 29 games over the past three seasons after playing in all 17 games as a rookie.

Despite durability concerns, Ojulari is expected to be one of the most sought after edge rusher free agents this year. Ojulari is capable of getting to the quarterback in a hurry. He recorded five sacks during a three-week stretch during the 2024 NFL season and is an excellent pass rush specialist, who did not have as many pass rushing opportunities with the Giants in 2024 because they rarely played with a lead.
