Sharon Stone has spoken out about living next door to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Montecito, California, in 2020, and it’s safe to say she’s a fan of the couple
Sharon Stone has opened up about living near Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have recently faced criticism following allegations from former staff members. The Royal couple, who stepped down as senior working members of the Royal Family five years ago, have been accused of ignoring “distressing” claims against them.
According to a source, Meghan was allegedly “awful” to staff when things didn’t go her way. Another source claimed that the couple “don’t know what change the world means” after their Spotify podcast, Archetypes, was cancelled. The source drew a comparison to the late Princess Diana, saying, “Diana walked amongst land mines. Meghan couldn’t even say the word sl*t”.
The source also suggested that Meghan and Harry want to be seen as people who want to make a global impact, but lack a clear understanding of what that entails.
The comments were made in a recent Vanity Fair article marking five years since the couple’s decision to step back from their Royal duties and relocate to California. The piece also suggested that Meghan could be “really, really awful” to palace staff, despite her initial “warm and effusive” demeanour post-wedding.
As tensions rose, the ex-Suits star reportedly turned “cold and withholding toward the person she perceived to be responsible” when things didn’t go as planned. Insiders allege that mishaps were often a result of Meghan and Harry’s own stipulations, reports the Mirror.
Sources speaking to The Times expressed that Meghan and Harry are finding these claims “distressing”. However, Sharon Stone’s words from 2020 have come back into the spotlight, five years after the couple’s move stateside for a more independent life.
