Today’s photo is from the 1985 Welcome Back Festival in downtown Clemson.
This event is held annually to welcome back all students prior to the first day of classes.
Note on the right side of the photo is a pizza place that I don’t remember much about, called the Pizza Pub.
Maybe some of you can update me on some of the history of this restaurant.
Trivia Question
1985 was unremarkable as a football season, as Clemson finished 6-6 in a rebuilding year after the probation levied upon the program. But the 1985 season did produce a first in football. What was it?
