Prince George has clearly inherited the height gene from his parents and is already the same height as his great-grandmother – meaning he could one day become Britain’s tallest king

Height is not something that our late Queen had in abundance, she was instead famous for her brightly-coloured outfits and her wicked sense of humour. Standing at just 5ft 3, she was often towered over by members of her family and the people she meets, in particular by her grandson, the Prince of Wales, who is currently the tallest member of the Royal Family at 6ft 3 inches tall.

While the late monarch was famed for her small stature, she is not the shortest British monarch. That title was held by her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria who, at just 4ft 9 inches tall, was wider around than she was tall in her later years.

And while Prince William wins the title of the tallest royal, his impressive stature is clearly something that his three children have inherited. Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, have all often appeared in public and fans are always quick to comment on how much they have grown.

Following their appearances at several events in 2022 alongside the late Queen at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, royal fans expressed their shock at how tall Prince George was. One fan wrote: “I bet Prince George is going to be at least 6’6″ tall!”

A second fan added: “Prince George is getting so grown up and tall, so like his father in every way, looks and stature and William was so like his beautiful mother, Princess Diana
