Blacksburg, VA – In a major recruiting coup, Virginia Tech Football has secured the commitment of 5-star quarterback, Aaron Pate. The highly touted prospect chose the Hokies over several other top programs, including Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State.

 

Pate, a 6’4″, 220-pound quarterback from Alpharetta, GA, is widely regarded as one of the top quarterback prospects in the class of 2025. He is a consensus 5-star recruit, earning top grades from all major recruiting services, including Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports.

Pate’s commitment is a significant boost to Virginia Tech’s recruiting class, which is shaping up to be one of the best in the ACC. The Hokies have already landed several top prospects, including 4-star wide receiver, Jayden Allen, and 4-star defensive end, Lamonte McDougle.
