How early will Ohio State football’s best NFL Draft prospect get picked?

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nearly two months have passed since left tackle Josh Simmons took the field for Ohio State football.

He was hurt in OSU’s loss at Oregon on Oct. 12, sidelining him for the remainder of the season.

However, the injury may not keep Simmons from hearing his name called early in the 2025 NFL Draft.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. still has Simmons as the Buckeyes’ top prospect. He’s the No. 23 overall player in the class and the third-best tackle, per Kiper’s latest big board.

No other Ohio State player is listed among Kiper’s 25 best prospects.

Simmons declared for the draft Wednesday, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
