COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The University of South Carolina is expected to name it’s next Director of Athletics in the coming days.
FootballScoops John Brice and ESPN’s Pete Thamel were the first to report current TCU Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati will leave the Horned Frogs to replace Ray Tanner in the Southeastern Conference.
Donati led TCU for seven years where he oversaw a College Football title game performance, eight different national championships in various sports and double-digits Big 12 Conference titles as well.
He’ll replace Tanner who announced in September he will be moving to become athletics director emeritus and senior advisor to university President Michael Amiridis.
