Penn State safety Jaylen Reed and linebacker Kobe King were unanimously selected to the All-Big Ten second team, as announced on Tuesday.
Nittany Lions cornerback A.J. Harris earned unanimous recognition on the All-Big Ten third team, while defensive tackle Zane Durant and linebacker Tony Rojas received honorable mention accolades.
Reed and King, both four-year players, have been key contributors to the team. Penn State’s star edge rusher, Abdul Carter, was the sole Lion named to the All-Big Ten first team. Carter also claimed the titles of Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Reed led the team with 75 tackles during the regular season, along with 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions, two pass breakups, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a quarterback hurry. King, the twin brother of former Penn State player Kalen King, ranked second in tackles with 62 and added 7.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, a quarterback hurry, and a pass breakup.
Harris, who joined Penn State from Georgia before the 2024 season, contributed 32 tackles, three tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and an interception.
With an 11-1 record, Penn State will face undefeated Oregon (12-0) in the Big Ten championship game on Saturday night in Indianapolis.
