Broncos Activate LB Drew Sanders, Waive G Calvin Throckmorton
The Denver Broncos have made a roster move, activating linebacker Drew Sanders from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. This move allows Sanders to officially join the team’s active roster after recovering from an injury. Sanders, a highly touted rookie, is expected to bring added depth and talent to the Broncos’ defense moving forward.
To make room for Sanders, the Broncos have waived guard Calvin Throckmorton. Throckmorton, who had been with the team, will no longer be part of the roster as the Broncos look to adjust their lineup.
Sanders’ activation is a positive step for Denver as they continue to build their defensive unit. The linebacker’s return could provide an immediate boost to the team, especially given his potential to contribute in both pass coverage and rushing the quarterback. Meanwhile, Throckmorton’s departure opens up space for other players to take on a more prominent role.
As the Broncos prepare for the remainder of the season, this move signals their commitment to improving the defense while also addressing their roster needs.
