The crash took place on KY 519 when 31-year-old Montana Price, from West Liberty, was driving a black passenger car northbound and crossed the centerline. Price’s car collided with a yellow box truck heading in the opposite direction, which was driven by 29-year-old Braden Evans from Grayson, Kentucky. A passenger in the box truck, identified as 36-year-old Zachary Martin, also from Grayson, was also involved in the crash.

Price was declared dead at the scene by the Morgan County coroner. Meanwhile, Evans, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital for further treatment. Martin, the passenger in the box truck, was transported by ambulance to St. Clair Regional Medical Center in Morehead for medical care. His condition was not disclosed by authorities.

The Kentucky State Police confirmed that the accident remains under investigation as they work to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. No further details were provided regarding potential contributing factors or road conditions at the time of the collision.
