Bills QB Josh Allen Gets Brutally Honest (But In A Friendly Manner) As He Sends A Sincere Message To Girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld For Her Actions At A Wedding Yesterday.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his girlfriend, actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, began their relationship in May 2023. After keeping their romance private for over a year, Allen surprised fans by making their relationship Instagram official just before the start of training camp.
During an appearance on “Up & Adams” on August 1, host Kay Adams asked the 28-year-old Allen about publicly confirming his relationship. Allen responded with a cheerful, “We love love,” showcasing his happiness.
Adams also inquired if Allen had watched any episodes of “Dickinson,” the Apple TV series starring Steinfeld. Allen admitted he had seen a few episodes and planned to watch more. Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was also asked about Allen’s relationship, praising Steinfeld and emphasizing the importance of expressing love to those you care about.
Allen, who typically posts sparingly on Instagram, shared several photos of Steinfeld and their offseason activities on July 23, with the caption “Onward.” The couple’s trip to Paris for Fashion Week in March garnered some initial criticism when Allen was seen rushing ahead of Steinfeld while exiting a car. Allen later humorously explained that he was trying to escape the paparazzi after splitting his pants at dinner, even posting a photo of the torn garment.
In addition to a solo image of Steinfeld from “Pitch Perfect,” Allen included a photo of her with his family at his sister Nicala’s gender reveal party. Both Allen and Steinfeld guessed the baby would be a boy, which turned out to be correct.
During the playoffs, Allen’s teammate Dion Dawkins praised Steinfeld for her positive influence on Allen. Dawkins noted that despite some struggles the previous season, Allen’s performance improved significantly after the Bills switched offensive coordinators. In the Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Allen completed 70% of his passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns, adding 74 rushing yards and a score, earning a 121.9 quarterback rating.
Dawkins observed that Allen’s improved mental state, which he attributed to Steinfeld and other positive influences, was contributing to his better on-field performance. Dawkins praised the “beautiful energy” in Allen’s life, noting that it had a beneficial impact on his game and overall mood.
