Breaking news:  Luton Town Top Star Linked to Crystal Palace Move

Searching the world wide web, I’ve come across an article, published by Give Me Sport, that a Premier League club are interested in signing Alfie Doughty.

Doughty, still a relative youngster at 24-years-of-age, joined the Hatters, from Stoke City back in 2022.

Since arriving at Kenilworth Road, Alfie was part of the squad that, this time last year, played an enormous part in helping the Hatters into the Premier League and has shown during his season in the top flight that he is more than at home in the elite of English football.

Despite Luton Town failing to consolidate their place in the Premier League and looking likely to drop back into the EFL Championship, Alfie’s assist total remains among the best in the league.

However, whilst performing at such a high level, it seems that his attributes have come to the attention of Crystal Palace with our referenced source suggesting the South London side, are keeping a close watch on the attacking full/wing back.

Although Rob Edwards has hinted, he wants to keep the squad, he currently has, together, I think it is inevitable that a couple will move away, could an Alfie Doughty move to Crystal Palace, be one such deal we’ll have no control over if the price is right?
