Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been destroying teams in recent weeks, and on Monday evening, the Gunners demolished Sheffield United.
Arsenal eased past Sheffield United 6-0 away from home in the Premier League on Monday evening.
It came after the Gunners beat Newcastle United 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium, hammered Burnley 5-0 at Turf Moor and put six goals past West Ham United at London Stadium in the Premier League.
One of the players who played well Arsenal against Sheffield United on Monday evening was Bukayo Saka.
The 22-year-old winger did not score, but the England international provided an assist. He came off at half time.
United manager Chris Wilder has praised Saka and has noted how good the youngster was on the right wing for Arsenal.
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder praises Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka
Wilder said on Premier League Productions: “I don’t think we were very good. We didn’t gift goals away but in certain situations, we could do a lot better from a defensive point of view.
“They were outstanding especially when they got around the edge of the box, their quick play was incredible.
“We made it pretty easy for them to open us up and Saka took us to pieces down that side. We didn’t have an answer to anything they had. The result is what the result is and we have to live with it.”
My View: Bukayo Saka a key player for Arsenal in title quest
In my opinion, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will play a big role for the team in the coming weeks and months.
Mikel Arteta’s side are aiming to beat Liverpool and Manchester City to the Premier League title this season, and I believe that Saka will play a big role in that quest.
Saka is one of the best and most important players in the Arsenal first team. He is one of the first names on the teamsheet and plays when he is fit and available.
Despite being just 22, Saka is remarkably consistent, and he is scoring a lot of goals.
The winger has scored 13 goals and given eight assists in 26 Premier League matches this season. Saka scored 14 goals and gave 11 assists in 37 league starts in 2022-23.
