Jim White has shared a new image of himself alongside Philippe Clement after spending a “brilliant” night in the Rangers manager’s company.
The talkSPORT presenter was in Glasgow on Sunday (3 March) for an event with former Gers player and manager Graeme Souness.
Clement and goalkeeper Jack Butland were among those in attendance, a day on from the Gers’ disappointing 2-1 loss to Motherwell.
White posted on his personal Twitter page [4 March]: “Brilliant night on stage at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow with former @RangersFC manager Graeme Souness – along with current boss Philippe Clement and keeper Jack Butland.”
Rangers fixtures coming thick and fast
The timing of this event may not have been great given it came on the back of a rare loss for Rangers, although Celtic’s defeat to Hearts did soften the blow.
Those in attendance no doubt enjoyed the show, though, which was hosted by White and focused mainly on Souness.
Clement was given a chance to unwind after a hectic run of games, but there is no let up as the Gers now turn focus back to European matters.
A two-legged Europa League last-16 tie with Benfica sandwiches a trip to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership next weekend.
Another away trip, this time at Dundee, wraps up this particular segment of the season before we enter the final international break of the season.
Clement will therefore no doubt be back at work today ahead of the first of those four games in quick succession.
With March now here, we are very much at the start of the business end of the campaign.
