Max Verstappen, the three-time world champion, did not make the top five most-recruited drivers in F1 Manager 2023.
The video game, which was released in July and is the second entry in the new series, is intended to give Formula 1 fans a taste of what it’s like to be in charge of an F1 team on a daily basis.
The game has now announced the most popular drivers on the grid via its official X page, with some surprising names gaining favor among players.
Verstappen beaten by Hamilton and Norris
Lando Norris takes the top slot, with his perfect blend of youth and experience giving players a go-to option, while his lack of a race victory thus far in his career means he’s not as expensive as some other elite drivers.
LET'S GOOO! Lando Norris is the driver you've recruited the most in F1 Manager 23!

Meanwhile, veteran drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso reach the top five, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda also making the cut.
This means Verstappen, whose three world championships and mega-long deal with Red Bull make him an extremely expensive choice in the game, does not have a slot in the top five.
