Michael Flynn and Wayne Hatswell ink fresh, extended deals for the long haul.

Swindon Town Football Club is thrilled to announce that Michael Flynn will continue as the Swindon Town Manager until the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, having agreed to a new long-term contract. Additionally, Wayne Hatswell, who serves as the Assistant Manager and hails from Swindon, has also extended his contract in his role.

The dynamic duo joined The County Ground after the 2022/23 season, where the team finished 10th. In the current season, Flynn and Hatswell have made an impressive start, with the club going unbeaten in the first nine games and maintaining a strong position in the promotion race.

Clem Morfuni, the Swindon chairman, expressed his delight at retaining Michael and Wayne, emphasizing their dedication, hard work, and exciting style of play that has endeared them to the club and its supporters.

Chief executive Anthony Hall emphasized the club’s aspirations to compete at the highest level and highlighted the importance of having the right management team in place. He believes that extending the contracts of Michael and Wayne is a significant step toward achieving the club’s goals.
